Up In the Air - I thought it was pretty good. However, not everyone I went with enjoyed it since my friend Chris said it was horrible. It’s definitely slow and there is no real climactic, movie-building scene. But, I think it tells a unique story and in the end, makes a valid and honest point. Plus, George Clooney was really great in it.
The Proposal - I rented this movie, and loved it. I am a big Sandra Bullock fan, and she definitely lived up to her usual funny, romCom antics. But, the scene stealers were always attributed to Betty White. She’s still got it after all these years.
Julie & Julia - I rented this one too. Meryl Streep completely took over Julia Childe’s persona. It was freaky. But as for the movie, it was slow, boring and nothing happens. I was just waiting for it to end, which is usually unlike me. It’s a no-go.

I still want to see Brothers, though. I have to get on that. And even though everyone has been talking about Avatar, it looks really weird to me. I don’t think it’s my type of movie…
